Why Your Team Has to Experience It to Learn It

Remember learning how to ride a bike? Your dad or older sister might have explained how to ride a bike, but you learned to ride by getting on the bike and learning to balance and pedal. That’s called experiential learning.

Experiential learning isn’t kid stuff; it’s an effective approach to conducting team building and corporate retreats.

This video from Peter Bailey of The Prouty Project explains experiential learning and how to use it with your team to set goals or solve business problems.

Corporate meetings and retreats are no longer lectures on sales numbers and research findings. Today’s retreat is engaging your team with a skilled facilitator to think through challenges and discover solutions that become apparent when the team experiences the learning firsthand.
